Well the 2006

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:19 pm

Well the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season is about ready to roar, weather patterns are changing the ocean surface temps are heating up and we have some activity forming off the Coast of Africa so it will soon be upon us. It also seems as if we are still busy cleaning up from last year are we not? Indeed, and New Orleans is only one of the places with years of work in re-building to go, while the political forces are afoot to change the Mayor of that fine ?chocolate city? as he calls it?

Recently we addressed this topic in an online think tank and wonder with all that debris, what in the World are they going to do if they get another large category through there during this 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season? Ever thought of that? Well one of our members has and stated;

?I saw something about New Orleans on the news last night and it seems there is just so much clean-up left and here we are approaching another season. Garbage is going to take flight.?

Indeed with all the lose debris on the ground during the massive clean up mission, it will surely become like self-propelled shrapnel and that is just another disaster waiting to happen and well time is running out.

0 Comments | Wireless News, Jul 29, 2010

Next Level Security Systems, a physical security company that develops unified, networked security solutions, announced the release of the NLSS HD Media Decoder, an open, full HD decoder on the market for security applications.

“Next Level Security Systems’ HD Media Decoders provide a way to display video from IP cameras and video encoders on LCD, LED and Plasma monitors or televisions,” said Peter Jankowski, Chairman and CEO, Next Level Security Systems. “The technology delivers precise image scaling and enables users to monitor security video more effectively and stream stored or online media when needed.”

NLSS HD Media Decoders can display up to four simultaneous streams of HD 1080p video to a single monitor. It supports multiple video pane layouts including 1×1, 1×2 and 2×2. The NLSS HD Media Decoders can also stream stored media content or available online content, making it ideal for digital signage or viewing video from the Internet. 7.1 Surround Sound audio is also supported with the NLSS HD Media Decoders. When combined with the NLSS Gateway, multiple NLSS HD Media Decoders can be networked to build a multi- display video wall.

The company said the product offers flexibility and openness by supporting common digital video formats such as H.264, MPEG-4 and M- JPEG, and supports most IP cameras and encoders that incorporate ONVIF and PSIA standards, and RSTP protocol. It also includes auto discovery capabilities for most IP-based surveillance cameras and encoders, and is customizable through an API

It is best if

It is best if you seek advice from your veterinarian before deciding on which dog food to feed your dog or puppy.

Two most popular choices of dog foods are:

Dry Dog Food

Feeding your dog with dry dog food, usually in small pieces of kibbles, is perhaps one of the most popular choices among dog owners. However, not all dog food brands use high quality natural ingredients. Ensure to read the label of ingredients listed before purchasing any brands of dog food. Here are some guidelines to help you to have some ideas of what the label actually tells you:

No Preservative, Artificial Colors and Flavors. Generally, natural dog food contains no preservative, artificial colors and flavors. Consumption of these components may be harmful to your dog?s health if taken in a long run. Avoid those that labeled ?chemical additives as a source of flavor?.

Color. Lookout for the color of the dog food, generally dog food made from natural ingredients is in soft earth tones. Existence of other colors like red or green may contain some source of additives.

Type of Meat. Avoid brands that labeled ?ingredients include meat by-product?.

Sports car clubs abound for these little cars so you have plenty of resources and support. One warning though, when I say project car I mean it. These aren’t everyday drivers, just fun cars for weekends!

There are lots of ways to find sports cars at a decent price including classifieds and free weekly papers as well as auto industry specific publications like Auto Trader. Sometimes you can find real bargains this way. You never know when you will stumble on a bargain due to a divorce or someone being transferred overseas.

Your local mechanic as always is a great source of information for bargains on a used car. People will often tell the mechanic to keep a look out if they know someone who is looking for a car for sale. Usually the mechanic will have done the work on the car as well and can vouch for its reliability.

If they sign up and then you leave them alone, or leave it up to your auto-responder to reply, chances are you?ll have an ?unsubscribe? in no time.

Visitors love freebies, especially if it is something of value. Not only will your visitors get a free newsletter packed with the latest information, tips, and specials, but it?s also a good idea to offer a free ebook related to the content of your site. The newsletter is much more valuable if it is not only an auto-responder series, but also has a touch of your personality entwined in the messages. They are also more effective when they?re not just sales pitches, but offer helpful information that your customers will appreciate. The ebook can be one that you have resell rights to and can brand with your own name and links, or one that you write yourself. If you think you can?t write a book, a good tip is to categorize the articles you write into folders by topic, and then amalgamate the articles into an ebook of your own creation.

0 Comments | Western Daily Press, Jul 24, 2010 | by KEVIN FAHEY

Sophie Upton is aiming to raise the bar another notch today when she competes in the Birmingham Games at Alexander Stadium.

After her first senior medal in the England Athletics Championships last weekend, the 19-year-old Wiltshire pole vaulter, from Melksham, is now hoping to end the season with another improvement to her personal best of 4.10m.

“I feel I am starting to make the transition from being a junior last year into the senior ranks this summer and winning medals,” said Upton. “I was fifth in the European trials (UK Championships) and now third at Gateshead. It shows I’m moving in the right direction. It has been a very successful season for me and I have been really pleased with it.

“Now I’m hoping that I can jump higher before the season is over – starting with the Birmingham Games this weekend.”

Also at Birmingham will be Gloucester-based hammer thrower Zoe Derham, Amy Woodman (long jump), Claire Linskill (triple jump), Kylie Russell (100 &200m), Cameron Walker-Shepherd and Jamie Courtenay (both pole vault). Bristol & West AC have named a strong squad for the British League Knock-out Cup competition at Yate today with opposition from top Welsh clubs Cardiff AC, Swansea Harriers and Newport plus Exeter Harriers, Swindon Harriers and Severn AC.

Routine car detailing is sure to prove beneficial for your car. Every penny you spend for the detailing job (if you go for professional detailing services) and every effort you put in (if you decide to do it on your own) will go on to prevent damages to the vehicle and restore its good looks.

The car detailing job is not all that complicated and you will not need to pick up any special skill or technique for it. The first detailing tip suggested by most car manufacturers and professionals providing car detailing services is to start cleaning from inside. This is essentially a three-step plan involving vacuuming, cleaning and conditioning.

Follow it up with cleaning the car?s windows. Some glass cleaner and a clean towel are what you need to clean the windows.

The dense concentration of trichomes on the

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:30 pm

The dense concentration of trichomes on the leaf?s surface allows the plant to absorb more moisture and to reflect the harsh effects of the sun.

Tillandsias have truly exquisite foliage. Although when in bloom they are magnificent in appearance, their foliage is their outstanding feature. Most tillandsia only bloom once in their lifetime. After blooming, pups or offsets form around the base or axil of the plants, and will eventually mature and complete their blooming cycle in one to several years. Propagating tillandsia from seed can require the patience of Job since it can take from four to seven years to do so. It is much easier and quicker to propagate by separating the offsets from the ?mother? plant after they have reach about ? ?her? size.

Create some very eye-catching live plant arrangements using only tillandsia or by combining them with other plants. Since soil is not a requirement for growing tillandsia, more display possibilities are available than with traditional plants. Although displaying your plants can be as simple as hanging them by their roots from a piece of non-copper wire or fishing line, you can use waterproof adhesives such as Liquid Nail, Goop or even hot glue to attach your plants to any substrate that can handle frequent watering.

That is the heat

That is the heat source.

Now, let us take a look inside the crankcase. It houses the
crankshaft, connecting rod, piston rod, cylinder liner, piston,
drive gears or chains and the lubrication oil. To prevent
lubrication oil loss, protect persons from the moving mechanical
parts, prevent contamination of the oil, and many other reasons
the crankcase is totally enclosed and separated from the external
environment.

First, let us look at the moving parts. There is the reciprocating
mechanism consisting of the crankshaft, journal bearings, and
connecting rod. If it is a crosshead engine, the crosshead sliding
and reciprocating mechanism. For the trunk type engine, there is
the piston and the small end bearings.

There are also gears or chains to drive the camshaft.
